“I became a supervisor because I care about ethics and good practice in counselling, and I'm drawn to supporting people new to this work. There's a real opportunity to learn from others in that role, and that keeps it alive for me.”
Woodville South SA
David is a counsellor and supervisor who works with early-career practitioners and school counsellors. He brings patience and attentiveness to supervision, helping supervisees learn about themselves and their practice as they work with anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. He offers both individual and group supervision.
How David works
I offer individual and group supervision to counsellors who are new to the field, early-career practitioners, and school counsellors. My supervision provides a space to explore your practice, build confidence, and develop your skills as you grow into your work.
I work from the Rise Model, Solution-Focused, Narrative, Systemic and Person-Centred approaches. These models help us look at your work from different angles: noticing strengths and possibilities, exploring the stories that shape practice, considering the systems around your clients, and holding a strong focus on the therapeutic relationship.
