Pricing

One booking fee. Nothing else.

Your supervisor sets their own rate and is paid it in full. We add one small fee to the booking, and that pays for everything the platform does around the session.

Booking fee

$5.50 per booking, incl. GST

Added to the session you book, charged once when the booking is made. No subscription, no lock-in, nothing to cancel.

Your supervisor’s own rate sits alongside it and goes straight to them. A $100 session is $105.50 at checkout.

Supervisors who fit your practice, your stage, and the way you like to work.

  • The session itself

Booking, reminders, and a private room in the platform when you meet online.

  • Your hours, recorded

Each session is confirmed and recorded against your annual requirement, ready to export.

  • Payment and receipts

Paid in one step, with a tax invoice in your dashboard for each session.

No listing fee, no commission, no cut of your rate. You set it, and you receive it in full.

The $5.50 booking fee is paid by the practitioner, on top of your rate. It never comes out of what you earn.

The booking fee

We charge $5 plus GST, $5.50 in all, on a session priced at $270 or less. It covers matching you with a supervisor, taking the booking, collecting the payment and keeping your record.

Above $270 the fee steps up by $5 for each further $270 of the session price. That is processing rather than a position on price: the card processor charges its percentage on the whole payment, the supervision included, so a flat five dollars stops covering its own cost on a larger session.

The booking fee, by what the session costs
The session Our booking fee
Up to $270 $5.00, plus 50c GST. $5.50 in all.
$270.01 to $540 $10.00, plus $1.00 GST. $11.00 in all.
Each further $270 Another $5.00, plus GST.

The fee is charged to the person booking, and it is ours rather than the supervisor’s. It is not taken out of what they are paid.

What the fee covers

Four things, and they are the whole of what Supriva supplies:

  • Matching. We show you the supervisors who fit what you have told us about your practice, your stage and the way you like to work.
  • Booking. We hold the time, take the agreement between you both, and put the hour in your calendar.
  • Collection. We take one payment and pass the supervisor’s share on to them.
  • Reporting. We keep the record of what you have done: sessions, hours and a log you can hand to your association at renewal.

The supervision itself is not ours. It is supplied by the supervisor, under the professional agreement the two of you sign, and Supriva is never a party to it.

The supervisor’s fee

Supervisors set their own fees, and fees differ from one supervisor to the next. Each supervisor’s page carries theirs, for each kind of session they offer, and the exact amount is shown again in the checkout before anything is confirmed.

What a supervisor charges reaches them in full. We take no share of it and deduct nothing from it, and what they charge does not change where they appear on Supriva or how they are matched to you.

Peer supervision

Peer supervision has no session fee. Nobody is being paid to supervise, so there is nothing beside the booking fee: $5.50 including GST, for the hour.

It covers taking the booking and keeping your record: attendance, hours, and a log you can hand to your association at renewal. There is no matching in a peer arrangement, so the fee does not cover any.

An hour priced at nothing still carries the fee, because it was still booked and still recorded.

When the money moves

Booking more than 48 hours ahead moves no money at all. We save your card and take nothing, because the fee-free cancellation window is still open and moving money inside it only to move it back is a kindness to nobody. Your card is held by Stripe rather than by us.

48 hours before the session the amount is authorised: held on your card, not taken. That is the same moment free cancellation closes. A booking made inside 48 hours is authorised at the checkout instead, because there is no window left to protect.

The money is taken after the session has run.

If you cancel more than 48 hours ahead, nothing is owed and the hold is released. If you cancel inside 48 hours, the session stands and is charged: the supervisor kept the time for you. If the supervisor cancels, whenever they do it, nothing is owed and nothing is taken.

GST and invoices

You pay once, and you receive two invoices. They stay separate, because they are two supplies by two businesses.

The first is the supervisor’s own tax invoice for the session, in their name and with their ABN as the supplier. Supriva issues it and collects the payment as their agent, and paying Supriva settles what you owe them in full. The second is Supriva’s own invoice, for the booking fee.

We charge GST on our booking fee. If the supervisor is registered for GST, the tax on the session is inside the price they set and is theirs; we neither collect it nor claim credits on it, because the supervision is not our supply. Either way the amount you pay is the same, and whether a supervisor is registered changes only what your own accountant can claim back.

If you supervise

Supriva charges supervisors nothing. There is no listing fee, no subscription and no commission on your work: the booking fee is charged to the person booking, on our own invoice, beside yours.

You are paid weekly, in one transfer covering every session that has settled since the last one.
