The platform fee
We charge $5 plus GST, $5.50 in all, on a session priced at $270 or less. It covers matching you with a supervisor, taking the booking, collecting the payment and keeping your record.
Above $270 the fee steps up by $5 for each further $270 of the session price. The card processor charges its percentage on the whole payment, the supervision included, so a flat five dollars stops covering its own cost on a larger session.

The fee is charged to the person booking, and it is ours rather than the supervisor’s. It is not taken out of what they are paid.

What is the platform fee?
Supriva charges $5 plus GST, $5.50 in all, on a session priced at $270 or less, and another $5 plus GST for each further $270. It covers matching you with a supervisor, taking the booking, collecting the payment and keeping your record renewal and audit ready.
Who pays the platform fee?
The practitioner who books pays the platform fee, on top of the supervisor’s rate. A supervisor can choose to pay all of it or half for their supervisees. Supriva then takes the supervisor’s share from their payout.
Is GST included?
Yes, if your booking is subject to GST. Every price on this page is in Australian dollars and includes GST. A supervisor’s rate includes GST only if they are registered for GST, and a session held online with a practitioner who practises outside Australia is GST-free.
Do supervisors pay anything?
No, not on Supriva. There is no listing fee, no commission, no cut of a supervisor’s rate or processing fee. It costs a great deal for a supervisor to supervise already.
Is there a subscription?
No. There is no subscription, no lock-in and nothing to cancel. You pay the platform fee only on a session you book.
Is there a platform fee on peer and group supervision?
Yes. A peer session has no session fee, so our platform fee is all it costs, and a group’s page shows the price of a place with the fee already included.
