“I came to supervision because I wanted to support therapist to be ethical and informed in their practice and to share what I've learnt over my time in practice. There's something really important about creating a space where practitioners can untangle tricky cases, build confidence in what they're doing, and feel that their approaches are validated, and I wanted to be that person for someone else.”

I’m a trauma-informed registered counsellor working with adolescents (11+) and adults. I hold a PhD in Neuroscience and a Master of Counselling. Psychoeducation about the brain and nervous system is central to my work.

I offer individual supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists at all stages, from those new to the field through to experienced practitioners.

My supervision is reflective, collaborative and practical, grounded in interpersonal neurobiology and ethics. I use an integrative approach to therapy (Psychoeducation, Schema, IFS, DBT, CBT, solution-focused, person-centred) to help you develop your own therapeutic approach and professional perspective.

I use the ACA STEPUP approach to supervision to ensure a holistic approach, compliant with your professional body.

How Diane works

I offer individual supervision and work with counsellors at all stages, whether you are early in your career, building a specialisation, or running a private practice. Supervision with me goes beyond just ticking a box: it is a genuine reflective relationship where we can celebrate your clinical wins, untangle the tricky cases, and keep your practice grounded and ethically robust.

I draw on an integrative and eclectic base, which means I bring in whatever serves you best from session to session, including person-centred, solution-focused, and reflective practice frameworks, as well as the STEP UP model. Person-centred work keeps the supervisory relationship at the centre; solution-focused thinking helps identify practical, actionable steps; reflective practice creates space to sit with complexity and deepen self-awareness; and STEP UP offers a structured framework for ethical and professional development.
