How Alyson works
I offer both individual and group supervision and work with practitioners at every stage of their career, from those just starting out in counselling through to senior and advanced practitioners. I also welcome people who are building a new specialisation, returning to practice after a break, or running their own private practice.
I work from an integrative and eclectic base, drawing on the Seven-Eyed Model to bring a wide-angle view to what is happening in the supervisory relationship, alongside reflective practice to support deeper thinking about clinical work. Narrative and systemic lenses help situate a practitioner's work in its broader context, while solution-focused and person-centred approaches keep the work grounded and forward-moving.
