Lars Andersson

“After three decades in private practice, I have a very simple description of what I do as a supervisor; I reflect together with supervisees on what occurs in their work as counsellors/therapists. This includes challenges that they may have with specific clients, of course, but also any other challenge that comes with the work.”

Supervises
CounsellorsPsychotherapists

I offer mentoring and coaching and consultation to supervisees at all stages of their practice, from those just entering the field to early-career practitioners finding their feet, through to senior and advanced practitioners and those working in private practice. Whether you are new to counselling or well established, supervision with me is a collaborative endeavour, non-judgemental and supportive, where we work together toward greater clarity and excellence in your work.

I draw on Reflective Practice, Person-Centred, and Gestalt therapy approaches in my supervision. Reflective Practice creates space to examine what is working and what is not, Person-Centred work keeps the quality of the relationship at the centre, and Gestalt brings mindful awareness of moment-to-moment experience into the room, helping you stay fully in touch with yourself and your clients.
