Marion Pozniak

“I became a supervisor because I wanted to support counsellors in developing their practice and deepening their confidence in this work. Watching people grow, and knowing that good supervision keeps the work safe and grounded, felt like the next step in my own path.”

Marion is a clinical supervisor and mentor with two decades of experience supporting counsellors at all career stages, from students on placement through to advanced practitioners. She brings honesty, reflection, and curiosity to her work, creating a safe and empowering space where practitioners can explore their practice and their growth. Drawing on trauma-informed and integrative approaches, she works with the challenges that come up most often: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, emotion dysregulation, and questions of identity and self-esteem.

I offer mentoring supervision and work with people at every stage of their counselling life, from students on placement and those new to the field through to early-career practitioners and those in senior or advanced practice. Wherever someone is on that spectrum, there is a place for good mentoring support.

I draw on an integrative and eclectic base, weaving together person-centred, solution-focused, and trauma-informed perspectives alongside reflective practice, so the work can meet what each supervisee actually needs. I also work from the RISE model, which brings a structured lens to growth and professional development in supervision.
