“I became a supervisor because the work we do as practitioners is too important to do alone. Supervision has always deepened my own practice, and I want to offer that same space to others, a place to think carefully about the work, to be challenged and supported, and to stay grounded. After nearly two decades in practice and years working in specialist roles around violence and trauma, I've come to understand that reflective practice and trusted relationship are vital.”

PACFA clinical supervisor
18 years in practice English

I believe meaningful growth happens through safe, authentic relationships. My own experiences of adversity, healing, and personal growth have shaped both who I am and how I work alongside others.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with over 18 years' experience supporting people affected by trauma, violence, abuse, and other complex life experiences. Alongside private practice, I have held senior clinical and leadership roles with 1800RESPECT, the Leaving Violence Program, and Blue Knot Foundation.

My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally safe. I work with people from diverse backgrounds and identities, creating a space where they feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I value curiosity, accountability, and reflective practice

How Isaac works

I offer individual, group, peer, and supervision on supervision, so there's a format that fits wherever you are in your practice. I work with people who are brand new to counselling, those in the early stages of their career, practitioners building a specialisation, and those at senior or advanced levels, as well as people in private practice. Wherever you're starting from, we move thoughtfully and with real purpose.

I draw on a range of models, including the Seven-Eyed Model, the RISE Model, and the Developmental Model, which together help us look at the supervisory relationship from multiple angles and track growth over time. Reflective Practice keeps our work grounded and honest, while Solution-Focused, Narrative, and Systemic approaches open up new ways of seeing a client's story and context. I also work from Person-Centred, Integrative and Eclectic frameworks, and Indigenous healing practices, bringing cultural ways of knowing and being into the room alongside clinical thinking.
