“I’m passionate about counselling's power to change lives. Great supervision does more than tick boxes; it can shape a practitioner’s career by offering clinical expertise while keeping them engaged, curious, and excited about what’s possible. It creates space to grow, reflect and build a practice that feels meaningful and sustainable. That matters to me.”

Jicinta is a senior counsellor with twenty years of experience working with people across diverse practice settings. Drawing on her extensive experience and advanced formal health science training, she offers individual, group, and supervision-on-supervision sessions. She specialises in experienced practitioners, senior clinicians, and private practitioners in business, organisations, and corporate sectors. Her approach is practical and focused on you and your goals. It is a collaborative space where your expertise is recognised, your time is valued, and the focus is on balancing support with your ongoing career development as a counsellor, not just each session's presenting issues.

How Jicinta works

I offer individual supervision, group supervision, and supervision on supervision. My work is with experienced practitioners building a specialisation, those in senior or advanced practice, and private practitioners. Whether we meet one to one or in a group, supervision is a space to work through challenges, develop your strengths, and shape a practice that feels purposeful, ethical, and sustainable, focusing on you as a counsellor, not only the clients you work with.

I draw on a range of models, including Reflective Practice, the RISE Model, and a Developmental Model, alongside Solution-Focused, Systemic, Person-Centred, and Integrative approaches. Reflective practice invites you to slow down and examine your experience with curiosity; developmental frameworks attend to where you are in your professional growth and where you want to go; and solution-focused and systemic lenses open up new ways of seeing the work. Bringing these together means we can begin with what feels most important to you and work in a way that is practical, collaborative, and genuinely responsive.
